Non-Profits We Support

As many of you are already involved, our company also enjoys supporting local non-profit organizations. These are a few of the groups we support with our donations. We encourage you to visit their websites and learn more about each organization to determine whether you would like to support them as well. These groups, like many other non-profits, provide visible benefits to our local communities and we are proud to contribute to their efforts.

Access Hope is a North Carolina Non-Profit Organization created to assist families in need in the greater Raleigh area. These are individuals that demonstrate the determination to continue striving diligently in the midst of adversity to provide for their families. Our goal is to assist in repairing and rehabilitating housing to meet the needs of these local families.

Despite their best efforts, oftentimes many families are faced with a hardship, illness, or unexpected circumstance, that prevents them from keeping their homes in good livable condition. Access Hope recognizes these hard working families and is here to provide the resources needed to make their house a home that reflects the tenacity they have shown during a difficult time and to assist in overcoming their circumstances by enabling them to provide adequate housing for their family.

Access Hope’s financial support comes from donation and fundraisers, such as golf tournaments, 5k runs, black tie dinners, entertainment events and silent auctions. Individual and corporate donations are significantly appreciated and have a major impact on our overall success and the lives of local families.

WHERE THE MONEY GOES

Funds raised are managed and distributed by the Avon Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) public charity. Grants are awarded to local, regional and national breast cancer organizations to support five areas of the breast cancer cause, including: awareness and education; screening and diagnosis; access to treatment; support services; and, scientific research. Support for the medically underserved is a key priority. Beneficiaries range from leading cancer centers to community-based non-profit breast health programs, creating a powerful international network of research, medical, social service and community-based organizations focused on defeating breast cancer and ensuring access to care. The 20th annual Teddy Bear Ball to benefit Duke Children's Hospital & Health Center will be Saturday, December 5, 2009. It is an evening full of the essence of the holidays. Guests browse and bid on hundreds of items while enjoying the tastes of the season.
